# Zvid rendering speed benchmark: 21-second mean for a 60-second Full HD video

By Mina Ramzy, Zvid. Published 2026-09-20; updated 2026-10-21. Evidence release 1.0.

Zvid reports a mean rendering time of 21 seconds across five runs, including queue time, for its published 60-second, 1920 × 1080, 30 FPS test project. Reported competitor-to-Zvid time ratios of 1.33, 2.1 and 3.9 imply approximately 27.93, 44.1 and 81.9 seconds respectively. Competitor seconds are calculated from reported ratios, and individual run records are unavailable.

## Results

| Service | Time (seconds) | Evidence | Ratio to Zvid |
| --- | ---: | --- | ---: |
| Zvid | 21 | Reported mean of five runs | 1 |
| Competitor 1 | Approximately 27.93 | Calculated from reported ratio | 1.33 |
| Competitor 2 | Approximately 44.1 | Calculated from reported ratio | 2.1 |
| Competitor 3 | Approximately 81.9 | Calculated from reported ratio | 3.9 |

## Methodology and scope

The author reports a 60-second, 1920 × 1080, 30 FPS project, five runs, and timing that includes queue time. Zvid's 21-second result is the arithmetic mean: sum of five elapsed times / 5. Competitor seconds are reconstructed as 21 × reported ratio. Percent reductions are (1 - 1 / ratio) × 100. Ratios are rounded; calculated seconds are approximate and do not establish measurement precision.

The author confirmed on 2026-10-21 that the downloadable project was used in the original test, correcting the previous separate-demonstration description. The test date, individual run logs, competitor account plans, regions, cache conditions, exact clock boundaries, and original competitor aggregation records are unavailable. The publication date is not the test date. Variance and confidence intervals cannot be calculated from the available record. These are Zvid-reported findings, not an independent replication or a guarantee for other workloads.

The runner collects new measurements with an explicit clock definition. Its results must be dated and cited separately from this historical report.

## Correction history

2026-10-21: Added the author's 21-second mean, specified arithmetic-mean aggregation, corrected the project's identity after author confirmation, and added explicitly calculated competitor seconds and versioned downloads. No historical per-run logs were reconstructed.
