Manual Trigger Schedule Trigger Edit Fields (Set) If Google Sheets Code HTTP Request Zvid Wait

Create product promo videos from Google Sheets or Shopify with Zvid

Turn the next product in Google Sheets, or the newest eligible Shopify product, into a branded vertical promo. Preview the design and credit quote, render one MP4, and save the finished link back to the source row.

Copy, then paste directly onto your n8n canvas (Ctrl/Cmd + V) — or import the downloaded file via Workflow menu → Import from file.

How it works

Tutorial and resources

  1. Start manually or check for a new product every 30 minutes. Sheet mode selects the first row with an empty Status; Shopify mode tracks only the newest product and does not backfill the catalog.
  2. Build a three-scene product promo from the supplied images, price, tagline and branding.
  3. Validate the project and review the Zvid credit quote. With dryRun: true, save an editor draft instead of rendering.
  4. With dryRun: false, submit the render and poll the saved job until completion. Write done and VideoUrl to the original Sheet row in sheet mode.
  5. Open Watch video → Binary → data → View to review and download the completed MP4. Social posting and attaching the result to Shopify products are separate steps.

Set up steps

  1. Install @zvid/n8n-nodes-zvid from Settings → Community nodes before configuring Zvid credentials. A workspace owner/admin may need to install it.
  2. Import the workflow JSON from this page and keep the schedule inactive while setting it up.
  3. Create a Zvid API credential using a key from app.zvid.io/api-keys and Base URL https://api.zvid.io. Select it on every Zvid node.
  4. Connect Google Sheets to Read products sheet and Mark row done, choosing the same spreadsheet and tab. Use the headers Title, Price, CompareAtPrice, ImageUrl1, ImageUrl2, Tagline, Status and VideoUrl. Supply Title and a public ImageUrl1, leave Status and VideoUrl empty, and preserve the row_number match. Set source to sheet and customize branding in Config. For optional Shopify input, follow the blog’s product-read credential setup and newest-product polling limitations.
  5. The download ships with dryRun: false, so a full execution renders and spends Zvid credits. Use dryRun: true for an editor draft and quote.
  6. Test one item, review the result, then check the trigger and workflow timezone before activating the schedule. Follow the complete blog tutorial for screenshots, sample inputs, limitations and troubleshooting.
